Detailed Engineering Design - Continued - Page 2
Civil Engineering ’s work starts with soil testing, site clearing, preparation of the site plan and overall storm water drainage plan. The latter is carried out in coordination with the Environmental/Pollution Control Engineer to minimize impact on the environment. Besides the normal civil design functions, such as equipment foundations, pond and basins, steel structures and underground piping, etc., LXDE civil engineering design team is also responsible for pipe supports, electric cable trays and preparation of structural steel shop fabrication detail drawings, as required, and carry out to completion with material take-off (MTO).
LXDE Mechanical Engineering design team is organized with engineers experienced in specialized equipment applications to the refinery, petrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries, which often involve turbines, pumps, compressors, blowers and fans at high capacity, high pressure/temperature, as well as very low temperature and vacuum operating conditions. Their experience in equipment vendor drawing approval assures high equipment performance and trouble free operation.
Plant Layout, piping revamps of existing facilities: LXDE has a core staff consisting of Senior Piping Designers experienced in piping layout and piping design, including stress analysis and piping support of critical piping systems, using ACAD, MICROSTATION, PDS, Caesar Stress Analysis programs. We can review your plant piping project and make recommendations for improved performance.
